LMRA BALLROOM DANCE ACTIVITY

DANCE CLASSES – SESSION 1 – 2010
New Revised Schedule Starting in January
For Ballroom, Country & Club Dances
Sweeping changes beginning 4 January:
1. 4 week class sessions rather than 6 week sessions.
2. One hour classes replacing the 1 ½ hour classes.
3. 45 minute classes replacing the 60 minute classes.
4. Beginner classes taught Monday through Thursday at 7:00 pm.
5. Intermediate classes taught Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00 pm.
6. Advanced classes taught Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8:45 pm.
7. An Advanced/Showcase/Styling class taught on Monday at 8:00 pm.
Styles of Dance taught this session at particular times can be found at www.TimeToDance.com and will include: Waltz,
Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Rumba, American Tango, Argentine Tango, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle,
Country Two Step, Night Club Two Step, Polka, Quickstep, Bolero, Samba, Salsa, Mambo.
MONDAYS - January 4, 11, 18, 25
7:00 – 8:00 Beginner – One or Two dances (see www.timetodance.com ).
8:00 – 8:45 Advanced/Styling/Showcase – This session will be a continuation of the Waltz from session 7,
thereafter one dance style to be determined by the students and instructor.
TUESDAYS - January 5, 12, 19, 26
WEDNESDAY - January 6, 13, 20, 27
THURSDAY - January 7, 14, 21, 28
7:00 – 8:00 Beginner – One or Two dances (see www.timetodance.com ).
8:00 – 8:45 Intermediate – One or Two dances (see www.timetodance.com ).
8:45 – 9:30 Advanced – One or Two dances (see www.timetodance.com ).
Cost for 4 weeks: $12 for Lockheed Martin employees or immediate family, retired employees, Affiliates or
Yearly Guests; one time Guest fee is $20; Class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Yearly Guest fee is $40.
Prices: Subject to Change
Class Registration: Come to the Class 15 minutes before scheduled start time to register and attend the class.
We accept registrations for the first 2 weeks of classes only.

Sunday Argentine Tango classes starting back, March 2010
Jairelbhi and George Furlong will return to teach beginner at 4:00 and Intermediate/Advanced at 5:15 with a
15 minute practice after each class. Cost for Sunday classes will be $10 per person per class.
No Monthly Dance for January.
Next monthly dance is 19 February with live band, Trey and the Tritones
